 Returns, Replacements and Refunds If there is an issue with your order, please contact Philippa immediately.

Please be aware that I do my best to take accurate photography and colour representation on my website, but that calibrations often vary between devices.

As per Australia’s consumer protection laws, postage costs on all returned items are not covered by Philippa Gillett. Only with faulty products not covered under consumer guarantee will return shipment be paid by Philippa Gillett.

Intellectual Property Rights to all artworks remain the sole property of Philippa Gillett, including after purchase. This includes the purchase of originals, commissions, prints and current and/or future reproductions of any kind. The purchase of any item, original or otherwise, does not grant the customer permission to print and distribute in any form or reproduce in any way by means of profit and/or otherwise.

Buyers may not reproduce artwork in any way without express written permission from the artist. Posting images of the items purchased on social media is happily allowed.

Liability Philippa Gillett is not liable for goods once they are in the possession of the collector. It is not her duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate by any means for the damage of products that have been mishandled by customers. Example -tearing a print upon opening the package.

As per consumer protections, compensation for damage is due if or when damaged products are received when impacted by postal services and/or faulty merchandise has been dispatched. All items are inspected before posting, and damaged items will not be dispatched.

Please read the product descriptions thoroughly before ordering. It is not Philippa’s duty to compensate customers who do not read the information provided in the product description prior to purchase.

Postage Policy Philippa Gillett is not responsible for missing packages due to incorrect shipping addresses given by the customer. Please ensure that you provide the complete and correct mailing address at checkout. Many of the products on the website are originals with only one available, therefore a replacement is not possible.  

 Duties and taxes Operating in Australia, Philippa is not liable for import fees on any products purchased from her and posted overseas. This includes but is not limited to the commissioning of a custom piece, originals and fine art merchandise.

Any applicable import taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total. These are determined by the customs agency in the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes. The customs agency will notify the recipient either  to pay these charges, so that the item/s can be delivered. 

It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any duties, value added tax or other similar charges. If you refuse to pay these additional amounts, your delivery will be returned to the sender. In the event the product is in its original condition, Philippa will refund you the cost of the purchase, minus the cost of shipping to your country.
